I started out with a 60lb gripper and have now moved up to 150lb.. I do sets of 50 reps at about 100lb and do around 500 to 700 reps. And sets of 20 reps with the 150lb for 5 sets then I'll do about 5 sets of simply holding in the 150lb for 10 seconds ...I actually enjoy grip strength training..

Did you say at one point to hold close for 30 seconds before moving on? I'm on the 250 and can hold for 60 seconds and just decided to start the 300
