When it warms up here, I ease back on crochet, and turn to my other loves of reading and spending more time at the beach.

Hi Crista!! I am retired and crochet some part of every day. Lately I have ramped up my crochet effort because I have been spending more time wit my great-grand kids- requests for amigurumi every time I see them!! I also have received request for blankets from my youngest son. So a crocheter's work is Never done! And NOW I just had an inspired thought to turn one of your BloomScape flowers into a Cardi!! Why do you do this to me??!! Love you so much!

I'm so glad you do podcasts. Just listening to your personality is joyful. I'm glad to have found your channel. 😊 I usually crochet at the table in the living room. So the kids are around, games are being played or tv being watched. Lego's are being built and dances are being learned. I sometimes watch YouTube videos while I crochet but mostly try to pay attention to the kids and be involved with them. I keep my crojo by learning new stitches/ patterns, doing different projects and yarn shopping.😅

I’m a school teacher. I crochet constantly throughout the school year but amp it up over breaks. The weather doesn’t affect my desire to crochet. Watching YouTube videos about crochet keeps my crojo going.

Version 2 is my pick. I think an entire butterfly set for another CAL would be wonderful.

I like the darker green to join. I crochet less in the summer because I have a yard to take care of but, still get some time in each evening. I totally understand about taking the time to spend with your kids. They won't be around forever so enjoy them while you can!🤗
Wishing you a beautiful day 🙏🏻🤗💖🌺🌼🌷🏵🌸💐

A calla lily would be nice. I knit and crochet consistently year around. Love your enthusiasm it’s very contagious!

I live in North Florida and we're heading into summer 🌞😎. I pretty much crochet year round. There's always something I want to make for birthday's or seasonal occasions. Always carry my crochet bag with me to doctor appointments whether for myself or someone I'm chauffeuring. It's very relaxing and a great stress relief. I enjoy all your videos, podcasts and tutorials. Have a Blessed day 💖.

I crochet constantly, except for when I'm sleeping. Lol. I was diagnosed with a chronic debilitating illness last Fall and it's progressively getting worse. I now struggle to walk, so I mostly sit all day long. I learned to crochet three years ago and I'm beyond grateful for the skill as it helps me deal with all this. Crocheting keeps my mind off the pain and illness and on the stitches, the counting, deciding colors, figuring out what to make next, and I love to crochet gifts for others! So, my answer to the question is I crochet constantly all year. I'm so grateful my hands can still crochet and my mind can still crochet!

I crochet a pretty consistent amount year-round, because the act of counting and stitching helps me manage my stress levels and care for my mental health. During warmer weather, I tend to focus of pretty lightweight shawls to accessorize my wardrobe. In the colder months I make more blankets, hats and giftable goodies for holidays and birthdays that time of year.

I have been crocheting much more this year. Normally I start knitting now (winter) but have found that crocheting is helping the arthritis in my hands.

I definitely crochet more in the cooler months. I’m also in the Southern Hemisphere (South Africa) and loving this cool weather 😁😁 crocheting whenever I get the opportunity. So many projects in mind. My ideal day or weekend is staying in my pjs all day, under a cosy blanket, crocheting and some good series 🤗🤗 crocheting is my life!

I do little things when it’s hot like your flowers. Your shells, your scarves I love the granny Ruth, bedspread, stitch, love love, love it.

Pretty consistent. It works wonders for stress and it's a quiet project I can do at night on weekends (graveyard shift takes its toll)

Great to hear you'll be spending time with your children again these holidays, Christa. Good idea to work in the mornings & have time with them in the afternoons. I crochet a lot all year, but definitely crochet more & larger projects over our Autumn & Winter which is now for Aussies. I crochet with finer yarn during summer & often smaller projects. Over Winter is when I crochet a lot of baby blankets & items for charity like cat blankets, lapghans, fingerless mittens, beanies & scarves. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

I crochet all year round. I love the second green you've done. 💚💚

I’ve noticed that I have slowed down a little bit as it’s getting warmer here but I’ve also been a lot busier. To keep my crojo going- I find that starting a new project usually helps!
I like the join and border to match as I think it ties it all together but the darker color did make things pop more! Daisies and butterflies are my favorite so that would be wonderful for the bloomscape cal. I also love stargazer lilies and lilacs. I’m glad you’re going to do a lite version of your podcasts so you can spend more time with your family- that way you won’t get pulled too thin! I’m sure many of your viewers will be doing the same with their families. ❤

Working on my FIRST Speedy Granny Ruth blanket. Can't believe I waited so long to try this, Christa! :)
