I perform a much lighter version of this on myself. Pulling gentler on a grouping of hair in the rough area where I’m experiencing a the pain from a headache. I was told it can increase blood flow to the area. In some cases it does help.

I’ve had this done as a kid in Peru. Chucaque is a technique known to be done by people from the Andes to help relief headaches, tension, stress, etc and it really works but the lady should be grabbing more hair though
