NEW iPhone SE (2022) - Best Budget Phone?

there was a time not to long ago that 500 (and tax) for an 128gb phone was considered to be quite expensive…now it is called a budget phone.
I love my SE2022, I upgraded from my 2020 SE and received 150 trade in by Apple)
There is nothing cheap or inexpensive about this phone…and it retains the features I did not want to part with:
a. Home button
b. rounded smooth edges
c. timeless form factor

I wish the "3 times better battery" would have been better even with the same A13 chip.

Love my 'Midnight' colored SE 3 (2022)! Excellent phone giving fantastic value!
Have seen it for as little as $329 on the US-based 'Visible" MVNO and for $379 on the US-based 'StraightTalk' MVNO.

I don't need a better camera on phone (since i have a DSLR) and don't see the point of spending significantly more money on slightly improved screen. IP SE 3 make a lot of sense for me. I use my phone mainly for texting and not for impressing anyone. lol

thinking to swith to se3 from my 13pm. its everything i need on a phone. my phone feels like a brick and its too flashy. i feel like the new trends going to be going back to the old designs of phones etc.

and as a first gen SE lover and user, I am also considering switching to an Android for the first time ever, except definitely not a google pixel. Maybe like a one plus.

Mine arrives by Friday. I love my 8. Perfect size, latest chip, good camera, touch ID, home button, 5G. Haters will hate. Great price. Midnight for me. Neuralcam app should take care of night photos. It's an exciting release to me.

I've lived in Silicon Valley and always got the best upgrades for iphones from the beginning of the first. But now I have the original SE and just prepaid for the 2022. I hate big phones, I already have an ipad mini that can take calls and I like the home button. Just to jab you guys but Steve Jobs would have never done a protruding camera. He would have yelled like crazy at the person. Yes, I and others met him and would tell you the way he thinks.

I prefer the bezels over the notch. After all this time, after 5 years. Apple could’ve just made slimmer bezels.

My point of view is same because I still love this design . It's handy, easy to use by one hand. Now a days phones are bigger in size even in apple. I really appreciate this design. I'm planning to change my se 2020 to new one probably or maybe iphone 12 mini. 12 mini is also very handy and powerful also the best part both are 5g. Little bit confusing

I wish apple would've increased the screen size to a 5-inch LCD screen 1080 p in the same body and a 12 MP front facing camera. Also, use the XR or 11 back camera instead of the iPhone 8 camera.

I got 8 hours and 34 minutes of screen on time with the SE 2022 on one charge. Absolutely nutty

cheap ole me still rockin my ‘16 SE complete with cracked screen and broken camera and a frikkin home button AND ear phone jack. But I am finally considering upgrading even though I really love the first gen SE and am also considering just having it all repaired so that I can use it until total obsolescence.
