Just no...Leicester winning the league was a fairytale, RB are packed with money, a more fitting comparison are Blackburn

nice video Francis. atleast you did the basic homework to the topic of RB Leipzig. but they are definitely not a Leicester. i don't know any other club, who can spend 15 mio on 1 player just after promoting into the 1st league. also one important fact is that RB is the only club in East Germany, the old DDR. all of the other 18 clubs are from West-Germany, that's another very important factor. there's a huge area and population, who's looking for a great club to support and to compete in Germany. but that doesn't change the fact, that they are disliked as fuck in the rest of Germany here. but if we just talk about football and on the pitch, they are amazing, they are running on average every game 3 kilometers more than their opponent, that's impressive. their game is very enjoyable to watch, speed, directness, pressing. RB will be a threat to reckon with. but even me as Dortmunder, i rather like to see Bayern at 1st place than RB. tells you alot.

More of a Chelsea than a Leicester if you look at their recent finances. But can't deny the fact that no one expected them to be top of the Bundesliga....

Francis, a lot of people hate on the NY Red Bulls because of the branding lol. It seems you don't follow MLS closely.

I think we all want Dortmund to beat both Bayern and RB Leipzig

Leipzig is super hated among almost everybody, and fans often boycott them in terms of not travelling there with their teams.
but in my opinion its not really justified, i prefer leipzig a lot over these small town teams like hoffenheim who could fit their entire city in the stadium

all this hate makes me want to support them... fuck it I'm gonna buy a jersey.

rb is hated, because success in leipzig is bought and not built. its not fair that a promoted team is able to spend money like an established side playing in europe. it lowers the chances of teams like berlin, mainz and köln to reach european competition, eventho they are doing a great job for years. and the fans are the biggest problem, no passion, no tradition. they are just a product of the product that is rb leipzig.

The simple fact is Leicester did it without money Leipzig did so there ends any hope of comparing the two

The Argument at the End, That no one says anything about Wolfsburg and Leverkusen is just wrong. There are a lot of Fans who have a Problem with them as well.

Many Red Bulls fans switched to NYCFC, because of the Red Bull branding and there are still who many want the Metrostars to live on. It is certainly a contentious issue among the supporters club even now.

Pretty much on point (except that Leicester comparison) *thumbs up*
They basicially jumpstarted this project to be on a level close to Bayern and Dortmund which is perfectly fine with me (Dormund fan here). But let's be realistic: they are not going to win the Bundesliga. That is still going to Bayern (which they haven't played yet).
But you can't forget that Leipzig also invested a lot of money into their youth teams and that region and they are good for that region (only East-German club in the Bundesliga). Their stadium is always sold out and they have a big fanbase even in away games (unlike Leverkusen or Wolfsburg).

I'd compare them more to Blackburn than Leicester with the amount of money they have to spend

So what's the difference between Leipzig and what Man City did?🤔

Though money is a reason they are hated, RB Leipzig is despised for completely changing a club. It's the same reason that everyone hates MK Dons in England. All the culture associated with the old team was completely destroyed by a corporation which is simply unacceptable

I really don't see the issue with RB, it's not like there buying the best players out there, they have a really youthful team and playing good football, they have done well to get up the leagues and now showing there dominance in the top tier. I think we can start complaining and comparing them when they start buying really expensive player
