In Netherlands: one cup or anything thrown on the field: immediate stop of the match and teams go inside. When they come out later and restart the game: something else thrown: game stopped completely. You should see how the justice on the stands will kick in after a few of those.

I will never understand people who go to sporting events and either:

A.) Get drunk and throw stuff on the field

B.) Get mad at a player or team and throw stuff

C.) Throw stuff for fun

Disgraceful. Honestly they should have stopped that game and tried to deal with the fans. It really was awful. Fans should be banned for life for that behaviour. Definitely affected the game though so those morons achieved what they wanted.
