I exchanged my beats studio 2.0's for the Bose Qc35's.
I don't regret it.
The noise canceling is insane.
You can't even hear yourself sing along with the music.
Plus, i love the little voice that talks to you in the headphones when you pair.
However, I do wish they were louder and packed more of a punch.

My Impression:
Sorry, but why is the PX550 not 1st or at least in the top 5. To have two bose headphones at the top of this list makes me feel like C|NET really likes flat sounding headphones. Great review, as always though! :D

I have the QC35's and personally much prefer my B&O h7's. The 25 and 35 both have a strange frequency response that I can only assume is a result of making headphones primarily for noice cancellation. Also the QC's are uncomfortable for long periods. Point being is that they're decent but if you want headphones and care about acoustic quality, you can do better...

Either Cnet is sponsored by Bose or mistaken.
The tech community consensus is that the Sony MDR-1000X are the best Bluetooth headphones right now.
The QC35s are light and comfortable, but sound flat and dull by comparison.
David Carnoy should do a shoot-out between the Bose, Sony and Sennhesier.

This is the first time I have seen anyone say the Sony 1000X are not better then the QC 35. That said the QC 35 are nice but are limited in functionality. Bose needs to update the QC line to add some modern touch functionality and allow you to control the amount of noise canceling you want like the Sony and many others in the market.

Bose QC 35? Sure. They are comfortable and have a superb noise canceling. However, do they sound like $350 headphones? Not even close, unless you love flat sounds. MDR 1000X should've been ranked higher and there should've been Senheiser PX550 on the list.

You know you're paid by Bose when you put Bose wireless earphones above Sony's MDR1000X headphones.

I, like a lot of people, usually use headphones for the gym. There I don't want to hear other people or other music, just mine. I wanted over the ear headphones which weren't as heavy as the ones you showed (less than 200g). I went with the wireless Soul X-tra. They don't come off, even during cardio and the earmuffs are removable for cleaning and fast drying from sweat. Those that you showed are good for more sedentary type of people.

Is always good to know other people's opinions on headphones, I always liked Bose but I keep reading that the Sony headphones are even better so if I get the opportunity I'll definitely give them a try.

Crusher wireless are a pretty fun listen if you are into that kind of thing.

Seems like Bose is becoming like Beats. Brand image is getting to the same level and because of that, sound quality is rated as less important.

I didn't like the sound of the Bose QC 35s. Their midrange was nice but the bass was sorely lacking. After hours of comparison, I found that the Sony MDR1000X headphones were far superior in sound quality, construction and functionality. The Bose QC 35s however, are more comfortable for long hours of use.

I would rank Bose QC 35s as 2 or 3.
