I was just going on my PS4 and I get this screen that says connect USB that contains a update file for reinstallation for version 7.50 or later. How do I fix this!

It still won’t let me go to the safe mode menu

Mine downloads the update file via internet but when it resets it still says update via usb. I don’t have a pc 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have rebuild. Initialization full a bunch of times. New update connected to lan line. Usb update. Still fucked. Laggy menu. Would loop safe mode after trying to open Netflix with no games downloaded.

Nothing has worked. Bought new 1tb hard drive. Usb the new update into it. They always say to do the files PS4/UDATE/PS4UPDATE.PUP.

The, “.PUP” would not read the usb. I deleted the .PUP and it recognized it right away. Apps and games working fast. No lag. Just a hard drive corrupted when the original one in my ps4 says august 12 2018. Bought my ps4 in Jan 2019. All ran fine until this fucking 7.50 update. So 50 bucks out to make it work again. Thanks PlayStation. Fuckers

OK PEOPLE I JUST FINNISHED FIXING MY PS4 that was stuck on a loop. no matter what I did the same error code came back on. U HAVE TO TAKE UR PS4 HARD DRIVE OUT OF UR PS4 AND COMPLETELY WIPE OFF THE DATA, BECAUSE WHEN U REFURBISH OR FACTORY RESTORE THE PS4 INSIDE UR PS4 IT WILL NOT COMPLETELY ERASE IT, THATS Y U HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT AND DO IT MANUALLY THEN U CAN INSTALL THE NEW DATA SOFTWARE 7.50. O AND U NEED UR BLUE RAY DISK DRIVE. U HAVE TO HAVE ONE IN ORDER FOR THE NEW UPDATE TO TAKE PLACE CUSS IT NEEDS TO READ UR BLUE RAY DRIVE IN ORDER FOR THE SYSTEM TO FINNISH THE LOOP IT NEEDS IT TO WORK PROPERLY.

That did not help at all. My PS4 has been crashing even after trying all options. And this bull shit didn't start until I updated to 7.50. What is the deal here? Is Sony hurting for money? Can't get the PS5 out in time? So they need people to brick they're PS4s so they have to go out and buy a new one kinda like a cell phone that randomly starts to fail after two years? Who knows. But if you have PS4 plus your profile settings are saved and especially COD warzone is saved for progress. Other than that... Noone has been able to actually explain a real fix for everyone. So anyone? Let's hear it. I'm bout to chuck my brick PS4 in the air and shoot it like a clay pigeon using a double barrel shotgun with a Xbox One sticker stuck to the side of the barrel.
