Let's discuss the connection between brain injuries, stress, and mast cell activation. I once knew a student in chiropractic school who experienced hives and skin rashes when stressed, which were found to be related to a previous head injury and brain trauma. mast cell activation and histamine responses are not just localized skin reactions, but are also regulated by the brain and hypothalamus. Factors like brain injuries, infections, and increased arousal and stress can all contribute to mast cell activation issues.

Never thought of going to the Neurologist to treat my MCAS

What type of treatment did you do on her to mitigate or eliminate the MCAS?

Would that mean that stress and anxiety could play a major role in activating MCAS?

I don’t think getting blotchy when nervous (a common occurrence) is necessarily linked to autonomic dysfunction or MCAS. Seems like wild conjecture.

In your opinion, between EDS, Dysautonomia, and MCAS, which one is the one that causes the otner? Or they are all interconnected no matter what ?

As for treatment I gave her an overpriced massage, did my bone cracking trick and badmouthed real doctors who went to medical school.
