Old Fashioned Sock It To Me Pound Cake

Hello Everyone!! Today I’m sharing with you a recipe that a friend of mine and supporter shared with me. This is such a moist & delicious cake that my family and I really enjoyed. Sock It To Me Pound Cake

‭3 cup cake flour ‬
‭2 cups sugar‬
‭1 cup sour cream‬
‭5 eggs‬
‭2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract‬
‭1 tsp baking powder‬
‭3 sticks salted softened butter‬

‭preheat oven on 325 degrees and bake for 1 hour ‬and 20 minute‬s

‭Streusel Filling‬
mix together and set aside streusel
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup crushed pecans
3 tbsp cinnamon
½ tsp. Nutmeg
Add a glaze for topping

Icing For Cake

1 Cup plus 1 Tablespoon of Powder Sugar
3 Tablespoons Milk (whole or 2%)
1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract or Lemon Juice

Mix until smooth and then spread on cooled cake.
