In Surah Hud (Chapter 11), it is mentioned that Prophet Lot was sent as a messenger to his people. He conveyed the message of monotheism and called them to abandon their sinful practices. The people of Lot, however, did not heed his message and continued with their immoral behavior.

In Surah Al-Hijr (Chapter 15), it is stated that messengers from Allah were sent to the people of Lot. They arrived in the form of handsome, young men. When Lot saw them, he felt concerned for their safety as the people of his community were inclined towards evil deeds. Lot offered them his protection and hospitality, urging them not to approach evil.

In Surah Al-Ankabut (Chapter 29), it is revealed that the people of Lot persisted in their wicked ways, particularly engaging in homosexuality. They openly practiced their immorality and transgressed the boundaries set by Allah.

Prophet Lot continued to advise his people, warning them about the consequences of their actions and urging them to fear Allah and change their behavior. However, they rejected his message and mocked him.

In Surah Ash-Shu'ara (Chapter 26), it is stated that the people of Lot's city were destroyed by a severe punishment from Allah. They were afflicted by a rain of stones, which is described as a punishment for their transgressions. Lot and the believers who followed him were saved, while the disbelievers were destroyed.

The story of Prophet Lot and his people serves as a reminder of the consequences of indulging in immoral behavior and rejecting the guidance of Allah's messengers. It is a lesson in the importance of upholding righteousness and avoiding sinful actions.

This is an awesome video! I just want to point out (as an aspec person myself) that aromanticism (little to no romantic attraction) is separate from asexuality! They both fall under the "A" of the acronym, and can be described together with a term like "aspec, " but they are their own, separate spectrums and it's important to remember this. People can identify as ace but not aro, aro but not ace, etc. :)

It might be good to clarify that the sign language Blair uses in this video is ASL (American Sign Language). Fingerspelling can and does differ per sign language, though American fingerspelling is similar to Dutch fingerspelling (I'm Dutch myself), I happen to know British fingerspelling is entirely different from American fingerspelling.

I am a hearing person who happens to have learned more about sign language and Deaf culture, so if there are any Deaf or Hard of Hearing Smarties who have more to say on this subject, please add to and correct me wherever necessary. Their voices obviously have more weight than my own in this situation, since I'm hearing.

Thank you for this handy video to sand to people who are confused about the acronym! I'm part of that "+"! I'm non-binary (meaning my gender exists outside of the man-woman binary) and panromantic (meaning I can feel attraction to people of any gender).

This is completely wrong. Fine, be bisexual, be whatever you want to be, but don’t change the word of God. You can’t just pick and choose what u thinks works for u and what doesn’t. In Islam, it is NOT a sin to have sexual desires for the same gender as these are the whispers of shaytaan, just don’t act upon it .It’s very scary what ur doing, Islam is such a beautiful simple religion and you’ve made it so complicated. People are looking up to u and ur giving out the wrong information. If ur so confident about homosexuality being okay in Islam, where’s the proof? Give me an ayah, a Hadith which supports ur statements .

This the most absurd attempt at manipulating reality to fit an extremely small minority of the population. Also putting sexual orientation and gender identity under the same umbrella is a gross oversimplification of unrelated human conditions. I hadn't heard the 2S part before. I'm asexual. It took me about 40 years to figure it out and a few more to realize it's OK and that I belong in the LGBTQ+ community. Though I do occasionally have people telling me I don't belong.
