Offerup allows you to search and list items for pickup or for shipping. You can also set items with a firm price or make them negotiable.

You didn't mention the requirements for selling, like, do you have to input a bank account to receive the monies of your sale, what does offerup charges for selling? Do i have to input a credit card only and be done for getting paid or a bank is mandatory?

I warn anyone new to offer up. Offer up dot not give you the option to block certain people from following you, leaving you vulnerable to those who may know you or know of you, while they wait for you to post items so they can rob you. I contacted Offer up about this and they didn’t care to fix the issue. Be very Carful!

Don’t bother. OfferUp isn’t working now. Your account will only be active for maybe an hour then will become inactive for days if not months. You will have to email their support system and you’ll get a generic response stating a technical issue. Then you’ll be active for a few minutes and then the issue begins all over again. You’re better off trying other selling platforms.

I don’t like the fact that the item has to be marked as ‘sold’ instead of the post being automatically taken down after purchase like on EBay.

Feels like I am just hoarding posts. I do get messages but many of these so-called "serious buyers" just ask for no intention of buying. I have sold several items to 1 person throughout this pandemic. but I wish I had a lot!

Has anyone been to these retailer mom and pop shops selling phones on offer up? They advertise as new but when you get to their store the phone is obviously used or refurbished. It's scratched has dirt in the creases and the screen has a plastic cover with bubbles. How do they get away with selling these phones at such high prices as used?
