I still can’t wrap my head around, that how they came up with some of the verses/lines in this song. Some of it even Rumi would’ve been proud of;

Yazeed is the main Antagonist in Islamic History, who murdered the family of the Prophet in a battle between 1000 vs 60. In the battle he denied the other side water for 10 days culminating to the brutal murder of the family of the Prophet.

So when he says, that she doesn’t even offer me water, and relates it to Yazeed, it really hits hard.
