On 20 October 2011, In Sirte the hometown of a courageous and dedicated Pan-Africanist and revolutionary who patriotic to the Africa and wanted nothing more than liberation and emancipation of the whole of Africa. Muammar Gaddafi’s government was fighting the NATO backed (National Transitional Council) rebels for several months. The NTC troops who assassinated Muammar Gaddafi in a shameful and brutal way. In February 2011, after antigovernment demonstrations forced Presidents Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia and Hosni Mubarak of Egypt from power in the neighbouring countries, anti-Qaddafi demonstrations broke out in the Libyan city of Benghazi. As the protests spread throughout the country, the Qaddafi government attempted to cool down the situation.

Qaddafi delivered a rambling speech on state television at his President palace that was bombed by the rebels, Gaddafi refusing to step down and calling on his supporters to sham the demonstrators who betrayed and sabotaged Libya. He claimed that the opposition had been directed by al-Qaeda and that the protesters had been under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs. He urged his supporters to defend him by fighting protesters. The western governments wanted him to go for exile in Venezuela, but Gaddafi steadfastly and courageously refused and he said he is ready to die for his homeland.

International opposition to Qaddafi's actions continued to build, his forces seemed to regain the upper hand in Libya, retaking many of the areas that had been taken by the rebels early in the conflict. As Qaddafi's forces advanced on Benghazi, the UN Security Council voted on 17 March to authorise military intervention claiming to protect civilians. The ensuing air campaign, led by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), inflicted significant damage on pro-Qaddafi forces but did not decisively tip the balance in favor of the rebels, leading to an apparent stalemate between the two forces. In late March the Qaddafi government was shaken by the defection of two senior Libyan officials, Moussa Koussa and Ali Abdussalam el-Treki, both members of Qaddafi's inner circle. Despite those setbacks, Qaddafi appeared to remain firmly in control in Tripoli, stating publicly that he would resist any attempt to remove him from power. Pro-Qaddafi forces continued to operate in spite of the NATO air campaign.

Muammar Gaddafi’s government was toppled to be replaced by the NATO backed rebels’ National Transitional Council (NTC), which was recognised by over thirty countries as the legitimate government of Libya in July 2011. NATO’s intervention in Libya has inflicted the nation and the region, for example the spread of guns and ammunitions in the Sahel which has destabilised the entire region. Even some Western media pundits have condemned the western intervention in Libya.

Idi Amin is a true patriot and Pan-Africanist, indeed a legend who threaten the white imperialists, the conqueror of the British empire. In 1976 after the None Aligned Movement summit summit which he chaired after the panel discussions all diplomats, investors and business personalities were made to kneel down and pledge allegiance to him. I think this is why they have depicted and made all sheer propaganda and lies about his legacy. When you are a threat to the whites hegemony they call you a dictator.
