Everyday, ranges anywhere between five-twenty issues. I try to stick to no more than four different series at a time until I finish a series or get caught up that way I won’t forget what is happening in the story. If I really like a series I slow my reading down and savor some issues left in the series lol . Great question!

I was reading 100 trades a year between 2015-2018. But now, my interest has shrunk drastically to a dozen indie trades a year. My attention has shifted mainly to reading graphic novels and reading books again. But I still like to find a few indie comics and scratch that comic book itch.

Great topic!

My reading time really varies day by day, but Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday/Sunday afternoons seem to be more of my consistent days and times of reading.

Maybe I speak for just myself, but I wish I added more time to read. But as we know, life happens while we are busy making other plans 🤘

Not enough! I’m reading Alan Moore’s Miracleman now but I definitely need to read more often

Let's face it, I have a moderate stack currently. However, I periodically will binge the whole stack in an afternoon or sitting. Today I caught up on Gunslinger Spawn, the Dark Ages finale (meh) and Nocterra (Not sure if I like the direction they're going with that one.) I do love reading through trades and the novels cause you get a whole arc at a time. Other comics will sit in my collection for the purpose of a cool cover to specs I don't have time to read or go to completing an entire run. Good topic today. Loved the comments.

Great video! Always interesting to know how people in the community utilizes their time! I have stacks of comics I need to read but some weeks I have time to read ~15 issues but most of the weeks around 1 or 2.

I started reading a lot of back issues or classic story trade collections in lockdown, and I've kept reading older stuff since. I only read a few modern comics on a regular basis now. tbh.

I read comics every day, and I usually average 2 or 3 issues a day. I only really read before bed as I don't tend to find much quiet time to myself in the day!

Ideally I try to get one issue in a day, but my reading ebbs and flows. I get real busy, my mind is elsewhere, and I just don't have time to read sometimes.

Good day, Justin. I should've added that everyday I read something in the morning. It's a habit I developed when I was younger when I read newspapers and magazines. Over time it developed into reading in general. On days off I get up as early or even earlier in the morning just to read for a several hours whether books, poems, comics, or a publication. It gets my mind going for the rest of the day. On the rare days I'm unable to read anything in the morning, even for 15 minutes or so, I've found something absent in my thinking process. Mind you, I read from printed material, not a screen. There is a substantial difference in processing and enjoyment. When I read from a screen I might as well not have read anything at all. There is something about the eyes fixed on a page on paper without any distractions that affects my concentration in a positive manner and that is lost when my eyes read from a computer screen, tablet, or phone, which is why I don't do it.

Possible question of the week:

1. What made you stop supporting your local LCS? Or what made you stop watching a comic content creator?

2. Do you slab?
a. Which grading service do you prefer PGX, CGC, EGS, CBCS or Halo?
b. Is there a difference in receiving a 9.8 from CGC vs. the other grading companies?

3. Who were/are some of your favorite artist and why? (I know you ask your guests a version of this every week)

4. What are your favorite storylines in comics? Popular or obscure.
