The Kansas State Historical Society also has a partnership with Ancestry. Kansas residents can log in with their driver's license for access to Kansas records.

I like Family Search. In looking for Japanese relatives I found If you search in English you get some results. But if you search in Japanese you will get a lot more results. Then its a lot of work to cut and paste back and forth to Google translate.

I use My Heritage. More content than Ancestory. Ancestory is not very good for European records.
