Buddhism: The Law of Karma That Will Change Your Life.

Karmic Obstacles in Buddhism.
When it comes to karma, people often think that the Buddha was simply reiterating an idea that had long existed in Indian culture, something everyone already believed. But this is not the case. The Buddha used the term "kamma," a familiar term in their language, but He gave it a very special meaning. He explained that kamma is our intention, and it is this intention that shapes our lives.

He went on to say that our intentions are the primary factor shaping not only our present life but also our future life. These intentions have been shaping our lives all along and they shape the lives of all beings.

When people came to hear the Buddha teach, He often had to repeatedly explain this particular aspect of kamma. He received many questions about kamma, indicating that these questions deserved a thorough answer. The fact that He had to rephrase them showed that people did not yet understand kamma correctly, at least not in a way that could help them end their suffering.

So what is the useful way to look at kamma? First, He asked us to look at our own lives from the perspective of kamma: What we are experiencing now is a combination of the potentials from past intentions and our present intentions. This principle applies to everyone, everywhere.

When we hear about kamma, we often think about past kamma—not just from this life but also from previous lives—and it seems like something far away. But actually, we are creating kamma all the time. Every time there is an intention in the mind, that is kamma. Even sitting here with your eyes closed, you are creating kamma: mental kamma. So, make it good. Mental kamma is your attitude towards something, and it shapes everything you do.

You need to practice to ensure that, no matter the situation, you are bringing something good to it. That is your contribution to the circumstances within you and to others.

Our minds find peace when we understand the law of cause and effect : "what goes around, comes around. "
We would cease to blame others for our own misfortunes because we would be aware of of the fact that we brought it upon ourselves.
When our mind is at peace, we develop concentration and with concentration, wisdom comes forth.

Wisdom is the key to changing our lives for the better because only with wisdom can we see true reality.
*Living the Buddha's Teachings is to fill our lives with utmost wisdom and happiness.*

According to AN, Buddha says, " there are four types of karmic actions and their results". "Dark actions with dark results, bright actions with bright results, mixed dark and bright actions with mixed results, and actions that are neither dark nor bright with neither dark nor bright results". As far as my understanding, the last type means that there is no karmic formation, or 0% karmic formation. This happens when there is no ignorance or clinging involved. According to the Law of Dependent Origination, ignorance leads to mental formations, and clinging leads to becoming. But if there is no ignorance(0%) and no clinging(0%), then there is no karmic formation(0%), and the result is the cessation of suffering(0%) (Nirvana or Emptyness).

If you replace “intentions” with “false beliefs “ as these are assumed in our childhood because as children we are not able to understand the true reasons for others behaviour, then karma takes on easy to understand principles and Buddha teachings can be easily applied in very practical way. “Know thy Self”

*What is Return and Rely on the Triple Jewels?* *The Buddha, The Dharma and The Sangha*.

One thousand three hundred years ago, the 5th Patriach of Zen Buddhism Master Hui Neng was already concerned about the people's misunderstanding of the Triple Jewels.
Instead of using the Dharma term "Triple Jewels", , Master Hui Neng used Awakened, Correct Understanding, and Purity.

Awakened from our true self-nature.
Buddha represent true self-nature.

Dharma is Correct Understanding.
Sutras are essence that flow out from our true self-nature.

Sangha is Purity of One's Mind.
Monastics represent pure mind.
Originally our true self-nature is pure.

With proper understanding of the Buddha's Teachings, we then can understand the "Education of Causality" taught by the Buddha.

The Original Buddha Doctrine is different from these
" Hindu/Jain" derived concepts, that are being spread all over the world, by people who have not entered the Path. That is why the Buddha reiterated that one should teach only after entering the Path.
The Buddha spoke of ANATTA, which is basic in His Doctrine. It means NO SOUL. No me. No I. Which means there is NO person, except the senses - from smell. Sight. Hearing. Taste. Touch, Mind and memory.
In the Dev DAHA Sutta, He Categorically states " If anyone says that, what one endures is a consequence of previous actions " that NOT the Buddha Doctrine, but is Niganta (Hindu) doctrine. VERY CLEAR.
—The Buddha-

Bhawa means one thought. PUNAR Bhawa means the next new thought. Therefore it is the thought that follows one after the other.
Therefore it is obvious that there is no me/l/ person to be reborn.
“ Bhawa niridho nibbanam “ means eradication of the thought process, is the key to enter the Path to nibbana.
The thoughts follow in a sequence and there is no KAMMA as described by the Hindu/ Jain faith, where there is reward on one hand and punishment or damnation on the other, as is the case in Christianity. This concept of damnation is questionable and will last with intellectual dialogue.
The Original Buddha Doctrine, before it was mixed with the Hindu faith, is Supra-mundane and Supra-cortical. Even the concept of Anicca and Anatta is at the level of Quantum mechanics and sub-atomic particles. When a body or any object is dissected to the last of the material form, it is correctly called Dhamma after which it is a non-material aspect and no form called “ information “.
On the contrary, Buddha’s Teachings are correctly called “ Buddha Doctrine “ or Buddha wachanaya or the Buddha’s Teaching.
One has to stop the process of Bhawa and Punar Bhawa to enter the Path through Pragna and subsequently reach the stage of Dhamma. Thereafter one sees Buddha and Nibbana.
Difficult to fathom, but it is a process believed to follow as steps automatically, after stopping the thought process, through relentless effort.
The Buddha spent 6 long years doing meditation and found it to be futile, where he collapsed many times due to starvation and extreme emaciation. He realized that nutrition was important for all mental and physical activities. Thereafter he left the 5 colleagues and did the reverse of meditation, which was not concentrating or being mindful of any thoughts. He left the world of being in the mind and entered the Path. That must be obvious to any intelligent person, as the incessant7 mental activity is the enemy to the Path of Nibbana.
Not these mundane false concepts such as rebirth of the person.
Do your research and enter the Path, through " Cheto VIMUKTHI" which one could follow, listening to Dr. Gamini Abhaya MD. FRCP Consultant Physician/Cardiologist with NO fee, through Denageneemen Nivanata via the Internet. Until one enters the Path to Nibbana, by entering the first stage ( Sowahn) it is incorrect to teach or preach, which is like BLIND LEADING THE BLIND.
About time people used their own intellect without believing hearsay.

You are explaining about Karma got from Buddhist scriptures written by Buddhist Monks. But Buddha never utter a single word about Karma. He explained only what is happening inside your body completely physical phenomena. That is about Mind.
