Hi Hannah, just a quick question on consent, once the patient has consented to having vital signs taken, you don't to ask for consent for each aspect: BP, taking manual pulse, etc? I would always tell the patient what im doing (eg I'm going to check your pulse on your wrist) but the initial consent is enough?

Hi, Do I have to do a hand hygiene after I touched the wrist of the patient when taking pulse rate? I just thought that since I touched them I have to do hand hygiene.
