Might be good to let the豬肉酥(pork floss / shredded pork/ pork sung [肉鬆]) soak a bit longer and/or add some fat. It's pretty good with粥(zok/congee) so maybe a way of keeping it moist would help.

My brother and I used to call this "Pork lint". You could get it in the segregated foods aisle of Woodmans back when they still sold pasztet and other cool Polish stuff right across from this. We'd buy tubs of it, then repack it into used round mint tins and shove it in our gums like chewing tobacco when we were out camping or doing airsoft stuff. You'd always have someone ask what you were dipping because they forgot theirs.
"Meat."
So many confused souls. Really, they should have been able to tell when we were swallowing rather than spitting.

Kinda wanna hope hollywood gets up the courage to make National Treasure 3, but with Nick Cage and Mr.Sausage. When an impossible clue seems impossible to solve Mr.Sausage says, "Have you tried making it into a sausage?" Nick Cage goes to dismiss the seemingly ridiculous suggestion, but stops dead in his tracks. "Could it be?" He whispers in astonishment, turning he head to view the aztec ruins from a different perspective. "It's not a disc, it's a plate! Y'know what goes on plates?" Nick asks with excitement "Uh, yeah y'know like...probably food and stuff. I guess. Like a sausage" Mr.Sausage answered absentmindedly. His mind awash with new sausage ideas. After realizing the Aztec's had an entire cultures worth of forgotten food and recipes, he had agreed to journey with Nicholas Cage. After all, an opportunity to make sausages from ingredients he had never heard of? Just the sheer thrill of it all was enough to keep his imagination running wild. "Lets go save America" Nicholas Cage declared. "Okay" Mr.Sausage replied, all the while hoping they could reach their destination Before the Hoover dam, like so many of his sausages, would burst.

I would love to see an episode where the season shredded dried pork is used as the only seasoning in a regular sausage. Extra porky sausage!

If you want a better chance of a good sausage... (I bought a multi kilo jar once, long story.) use a little melted butter or other type of fat.

The key with this stuff is if it's the star of a dish, you need to get some fat back in there.

Seems like it might be a good ingredient for drying out a wet sausage mix, like the pico de gallo from a little while ago.

A thought; Make a sausage with the dried pork, then boil it like a hotdog so that it is fully hydrated?
