* The Southern Africa Litigation Centre says the world is waiting with bated breath to see what the International Court of Justice will decide on the case of South Africa versus Israel.

* Casual employees at Johannesburg's waste management company - PIKITUP - are calling on management to immediately freeze newly advertised posts and conduct an investigation.
The employees, whose contracts are expiring, have been protesting outside PIKITUP depots in Johannesburg since Monday. They are demanding permanent employment. PIKITUP recently advertised 300 permanent jobs.

* President Cyril Ramaphosa has lauded the work being done to ensure that women and people of colour are represented in the judiciary. Ramaphosa was speaking at the funeral of the first woman Judge in democratic South Africa. Yvonne Mokgoro was the first woman Constitutional Court Justice after former President, Nelson Mandela appointed her in 1994. She served her full 15-year term until 2009. Mokgoro died earlier this month after a year-long stay in hospital following a car accident in April last year.
