Ghostlighting: Another Form of Dating Manipulation

Ghostlighting is a combination of "ghosting" and "gaslighting." Essentially, when you reach out to someone you thought you had a real connection with, the other person pretends like they don't know you or that you completely misread things. This can be an extremely painful encounter that makes it hard to trust yourself and others. It's a confidence shaker so it's important to acknowledge that it wasn't healthy behavior. This video is all about how to heal and acknowledge ghostlighting.

I passed through this with my ex, he ghost me and then gaslighting me as he didn’t ghost me, like nothing happened and even we went to the same places and he act like we never date like a friend who just knew me, I feel the urge to insulted him on the first place but later he wanted to make me feel that everything was my fault, he tried to hurt my self esteem and my ego, people around us were supporting him and his mistreatments, even supporting that he was a cheater, so I started to fade away and stop going on places or get along with people that we currently have encounters or in common, he texted me multiple times but I blocked him to prevent the urge of talk to him and pass through the same again. I was feeling betrayed by my own self, I was on a constantly feeling of depression even with anxiety most of the days
