Thanks Luke. Just checked my Roku 3 and has 14.04. Because an older Roku didn't think it would. Love my Rokus. Only downside on my Roku 3 lately, my aquarium from Roku no longer available.

Hey Luke, I noticed. My YouTube tv on my Roku tv has been freezing on every channel for at least 2 months. Some of the other apps I tried like Tubi worked. I tried everything. All the stuff I tried didn’t work. Most of the time I would connect with my iPad or my computer, which half the time didn’t work or had to keep trying. About 1 or 2 weeks ago the channels unfroze after about 8 seconds. Two days ago. The channels stopped freezing. I’ve got version 14.0. Thanks for the channel. Danny.

The update to Roku 14 broke Tablo live TV streaming (streaming app channels in Tablo work fine). For me this is only on my older Panasonic TV. My Insignia TV, Tablo using any of my Roku sticks work fine. Also my Mediacom streaming box (Android based), Tablo work fine on this device on my Panasonic TV. Tablo has been giving suggestions on how to work around this issue until Roku and Tablo resolves this issue. For me I now can get video but no sound on my Panasonic TV with the suggestions provided by Tablo.

If you use Plex or are looking for some of the Sheild capabilities, the Amazon FireCube is very good. I switched to it for my main TV as it can passthrough the uncompressed sound like TrueHD. Roku cannot do this. The negative is the Amazon environment. But hardware is far more capable VS Roku.

Looks like the thumbnail with Roku OS is an old version since it's not littered with ads. If only we could go back to that.

QUESTION FOR LUKE: can you help? Roku 14 doesn’t work with Tablo, it won’t play audio for local OTA channels and you can’t get help from their support. I use Tablo for to get locals and dvr but can’t once it upgraded. I have an ultra that’s still on 13x and it works fine. Goggle tv, Apple TV and other boxes work fine with Tablo locals.

Yeah I know the update is in my Tablo gen4 has not worked since Saturday my OTA selection will not lock on to the signal and just returns to the guide this sucks

Question for Luke, there are at least 10 Roku Home screen show/hide selects .. I chose to show only 2... Are Fire TV, Apple Tv, or Google as flexible?

Got the Roku Ultra LT and now can't watch any local channels from Tablo. Both my streaming sticks work perfectly. Can't find a fix anywhere that works. Suggestions?

My YouTube app has been working wonky every since the 14.0 update. Sometimes it takes more than a minute to load. Sometimes it backs out to the home page and I have to click multiple times. It only happens on my 2016 TCL Roku TV. Its only the YouTube app all other apps work normal. 14.0 hasn't affected my two Roku Ultra in the same way.

I wish they would figure out a way to display a “continue watching” or “new episode” where it pulled the data from all your apps. This way I wouldn’t have to launch each app one at a time to see if a new episode just dropped.
