I had a miscarriage two years ago, I went to the hospital and they said the baby was gone. My period never came back on after my miscarriage. I went to the hospital 5 months later and I was still Now I have an almost two year old laying next to me. The reason for this was because I was pregnant with twins and I lost one, and the other one was still alive.

You didn't mention 2nd trimester miscarriages. My husband and I are currently dealing with the 2nd trimester loss of our first child due to Trisomy 18. I go to the hospital this weekend to be induced and give birth, since I'm too far along to pass the baby naturally or to have a DNC.

My ob was very friendly and caring. But I don’t feel like she helped me as much as she could have. I told her I had bleeding every time I Bent over and went up flights of stairs and she didn’t even LISTEN. She treated it as if it wasn’t a big deal. So I kept on doing it, and I was lying on my back, only to get up and my water broke. At 20 weeks! 😭😭😭 my baby came
Okay so perfect with all 10 toes and 10 fingers and a beautiful face and features. And they were talking to me as if I should js suction her out 😭😭😭 they don’t give a damn about human life or helping the baby survive!

This takes me back and brings back so many memories of when i first got pregnant i was sure i was pregnant i felt a heart beat in my belly and i just wanted to be i was in love with my baby daddy So then i had a Period and was bleeding alot even a clot came out kind of shaped like a baby it was a big blood clot with little Protrusions coming out the sides almost looking like feet and arms and i swear the blood clot was shaped like a baby like i though i could see the head and the eyes but i dont know id i was just seeing things or thinking i remember being so sad because i wanted to be pregnant but i do believe every girl / women when u go through ur first pregnancy or trying to concieve u will likely have a miscarriage but get pregnant again right after that missed pregnancy period and IT MAKES ME SAD BECAUSE I LOVE MY BABY SO MICH I NOW HAVE 2 KIDS A DAUGHTER AND SON LOVE'S❤ OF MY LIFE and makes me sad to think i even lost my baby before like imagine if it would have been one of them i lost before even meeting them i love them forever so much and im sorry for throwing away anything even a bloodclot if it looked like a baby or not because looking back at those times its crazy how a life is created and that could have just aswell been one of my baby's ❤

I hate this narrative that there is nothing to be done it’s just a part of life. There is something we can try to do to prevent miscarriages especially early ones. Most miscarriages are caused by chromosomal abnormalities that start within the egg in the 3 months before Ovulation. Limiting our exposure to toxins such as bpa and parabens as well as taking supplements especially antioxidants and a healthy diet BEFORE getting pregnant can help tremendously!! Even something as simple as checking vitamin D levels to make sure you have adequate levels because low vitamin d levels has been linked to an increased risk of miscarriage and infertility. Hell low vitamin D has been linked to MS and even diabetes and cancer etc! A really good supplement is N-acetylcysteine which greatly reduces the risks of miscarriages especially in women that have had more than one miscarriage. As well as Co Q 10, vitamin E, Alpha lipoic Acid all things that are available over the counter. So yes let’s talk about it but let’s also talk about the ways to at least TRY to prevent it

I feel like you guys could do more like EDUCATE yourselves so you could better EDUCATE your patients. Otherwise what’s the point of coming to you “doctors” SMH. The fact you guys hide behind “we don’t know”…. WELL THEN FIND OUT! Smh!
