Tito Jackson, founding member of the Jackson 5, has died

He was 70 years old.

Wow....I am Shocked and Saddened!! My condolences to his Sons, and all of the Jackson Family, and especially to Mrs. Katherine Jackson!! I was just looking at video of them performing about 2 weeks ago at the Fools In Love Festival in California!! RIP Tito Jackson!!

This is shocking! I will never forget my first time seeing Tito and the rest of the Jackson Five on television on Saturday night January 31st, 1970 on the Andy Williams Show. We had never seen anything like it before, and haven’t seen anything like it since. RIP Tito as you join your brother Michael, father Joe, and your J5 drummer Johnny Jackson, until all the band is back together again in heaven. Thanks for all the great memories and music.

It was because of Tito picking up his dads guitar that his dad Joe decided to start The Jackson Brothers with the first 3 boys. It was Tito to start it, Michael to take it to stardom.
