I hope the next one is called: Subnautica: Rock Bottom, and it takes place at the VERY bottom of Planet 4546B, you start in a crashed ship on the ocean floor, in an airtight compartment, the tools and base building would be the same, and you can’t go to the surface or you’ll get attacked by either Ghost Leviathans or Void chelicerates, or maybe something new, and there could be more alien bases down there, there are a lot of ways they could go with it.

I just really want to meet the Degasi people or the aliens who built the gun! We never technically find either of their remains so it would be SO fun to have a story about them with little mini stories where we can interact with them :)))

Imagine a Subnautica, where you don’t land in any kind of warm area or ice burg, instead, you sink thousands of meters down into a giant cave, which you must explore for recourses to make a vehicle that not only can leave the atmosphere, but can travel thousands of meters up and out of the void

Imagine going down like 4k meters into the void with your prawn shot and then gravity reverses and you go into a whole new void world with new resources, alien tech and creatures
