Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is experiencing food shortages, a phenomenon many may have once deemed impossible. I've personally visited various stores, observing discrepancies in product availability and stock levels, hinting at possible supply chain issues or subtle attempts to influence consumer choices. Whether it's certain items being scarce or an influx of others, the patterns observed are perplexing. The objective of sharing this isn't to induce panic but to raise awareness and prompt collective observation. For a comprehensive list of critical foods to stockpile during these uncertain times, please watch the full video on our channel.

It’s great that these videos you guys give out about how to hoard as much food and toilet paper as you can before they run out. I’ve watched them all, but maybe somebody should start a video on how the American people can come together as one and take your country back from the corruption that is happening right under our nose. And how we can share upon each other if food runs low, there’s no need to be afraid just be prepared.

I thought it was just me when I went to the store the last few months. There was less to choose from less products to choose from, it used to be you would have all these multiple different companies with all these products now you're lucky to find two or three to choose from. I mean they're sucking all the happiness in the world that now full of rules and now they want to control what we can eat and have from the stores. These are sad hard times. And I have a bad feelings are not going to get any better anytime soon. In the words of tiny Tim, God bless us, everyone ❤️🙏

I have noticed several shortages in Walmart. empty shelves in different products. I grow sweet potatoes and beans every year. This year I have added carrots and eggplant. I truly believe a serious food shortage is coming.

Lucky me!! I've got lots of lentils stored. I live in an area where honey is produced, so I'm not worried about honey. Brown rice will only keep for 6 months, so I do not store it. I have lots of white rice as it lasts much longer when stored than brown rice. Thanks for the tips

People need to understand all of the dried ingredients like peas, rice, lentils need to be taken from original packaging and stored in vacuum seal bags. They all have bug larva that are undetectable until they start hatching. You should wash thoroughly the rice, beans, peas and lentils before cooking to rid any dead larva and starches from rice. They will last indefinitely if you store them correctly. Same with flour, corn meal, pancake mix, biscuit mix or anything you have in a canister on the counter and look at after a few months and it has weevils but you don't know why. Many dry food products contain larva and eggs of bugs but they are so small they can not be removed while processing. I have been prepping for 2 years, buy what you can when you can like extra TP, PT, laundry detergent, vinegar, sugar, flour, grits, pasta, spices, you get the picture. Be prepared!!!

I'm in the south hills of Pittsburgh PA. 6miles outside city limits. Have been to BJ'S, Walmart, shop n save and Aldi in the past 4 days. No shortages of consequence. Renuzit air freshener lacking. Other than that everything else pretty good. Nothing shocking or big gaps. Pasta good, baking isle stocked canned isles good.

I can't even find bird seed for house pets. It never ran short.... but approximately 8 months ago it just vanished.
I figured out that they shelve it approx. every 10 weeks now. (I like to feed the birds when I go walking.)
- I imagine that the pet food will be slim pickin's too.
(It may be so already.)

Canadian stores are becoming low on many items. Not just one store!
IT's HIT & MISS. Smh
- We're in for a VERY rough time.
We must stick together and help one another❗💕

I don’t think Aldi is the best store to use for determining a food shortage.

I have the opportunity to not only go to two Walmart stores. 1 in Pennsylvania 1 in New York.
We have noticed the expensive Ramen by Nissan with lower saturated fats have been in short stock at both stores. I bought the last 5 I have seen in 2 months.
I tend to stay stocked up on butter. A need for baking and cooking. Husband said we needed it but none out on the floor to buy.
As the prices of everything has almost doubled. Sadly it means not getting certain things.

No shortages in the Ozarks. And there isn't any food shortage that would impact my ability to eat nutritious tasty food. I make my own vinegar, salad dressings, and have a six year supply of peanut butter powder. I grow my salad fixings and other produce and have a self-sustaining flock of free-range chickens. Be prepared by preparing yourself.

It’s happening! It started during COVID and has continued and prices are ridiculous. I think people better start growing personal gardens again and learning to can things like tomatoes and fruit. I live in a farmland rich area lots of orchards, dairy’s and cattle farms and even our shelves are strangely empty.

I work at one of our local grocery stores. We have supply line hiccups, but nothing serious, and they regularly catch up. We have plenty of meat. I don’t see any of the shortages you warn of. Yes, this is canning and pickling season, so those related items are in limited supply now.

In Europe, Aldi and the other supermarkets are fully stocked. No shortages here.
