This is the "Say no more." bundle I've been waiting for - thanks GFS! I've gotten so far on my own, (with other great documents of Godot 4 GOATS vids) but I'm a 3d/2d artist and this is everything else~!

It took me a month for a fully working template, but now I'm going to feel "dangerous" with this on my belt - Godot has been SO chill to learn, coming from a kid whos only coding was actionscript 3 days, making interactive flash games and javascript in my teens/once it died.

Zenva also has some tutorial videos on their YouTube channel. They have a 4-hour "Complete Godot Course - Beginner/Intermediate Level". I wonder what the difference is, if any, between that YouTube video and the course in this bundle.

Okay. For those who are curious about the open world survival... there's a course that is needed to complete it and it isn't in this bundle: the walking simulator. It makes this an incomplete package. Also, probably grounds for a refund.

The idea of the open world survival is to put together other systems into a final product... but at least that lesson is not included.

Some of the HB exclusive tags are on content I already got from HB in older bundles. The micro turn based tutorial and 2-D platformer tutorial are both ones I've completed on Zenva from a past bundle and possibly others. Granted, most of the tagged items seem to be new, so it's possible the others/outliers were updated at some point and renamed, affecting the tagging system. Some of the non tagged items were parts of the same past bundles I've completed, so I'm willing to bet that might be the issue.

In regards to Zenva, I think it's great, and sometimes addictive to do 'just one more lesson' with how quick and straightforward they are. They are very straigtforward and well outlined, making it easy to go back and figure out mistakes or to quickly reference something if you've taken a break and forgotten something.

FYI the exclusive thing does not mean first time in a bundle. I know for a fact the 2048 clone with c# was in their gamedev bundle that covered Godot/Unity/Unreal

Picked this up a little while ago and started looking now - literally their ultra beginner, "intro to everything. start here" course is showing UX etc for Godot 4.2, not updated for 4.3. Which doesn't make me confident about the rest of the stuff.

cool stuff but I got bad vibes from the website. When redeeming the bundle, instead of just entering the code somewhere like normal, it insisted that I put the entire $1, 500 bundle into the cart before applying the code as a 100% discount and checking out. I don't know why they have to jumpscare people like that, and I'll never be 100% sure that I won't be surprise billed $1, 500 sometime in the future and have to fight with my bank to get it reversed because I purchased a course for $25.

Is it worth getting the $1 or $25 tier for a beginner wanting to learn game dev making small 3D games?

Was thinking about getting it, to finally start on the hobby I but on break for school and work last year
but with the drama, I'm not sure about if this is the right choice.
Looked at some issues they had last year with the release of 4.0 that still aren't fixed.
If they are more interested in political activism than fixing issues, this is not a project I'm optimistic about.
