She has three kids, two don't even speak to her. As infuriating as these occurrences are, it’s even more infuriating when other people will say “if he just showed her his ID this all could have been avoided” or some crap like that. The exact kind of enabling that emboldens these POS Karens in the first place.

Walk to your house, sit outside, or do whatever else you want, just make sure to record and don't say a word to them. You don't owe them any sort of explanation or justification; when you do that, you're giving them power.

I had a problem with a new security guard in my building. She kept asking whether I live in the building, even though I've answered her a couple
times. She's seen me park in my parking space in the parking lot that's only for residents, and she has seen me speak to other residents who know me. I complained to the management, which ignored me and sent out a passive aggressive memo to residents about how residents must have patience with the new guards.

Most of the residents of the building are White Hispanic, and there's not even five Black men living in the building, and none of the others look like I do. Eventually, I ignored her questioning and just continued on my way because I own my apartment and have a right to go where I want in the building without her interference.
