Nerf keeps coming out with cool deisigns when it comes to their Dungeons & Dragons line, this time with a mini crossbow called the Themberchaud!

As a side note - a careful trimming of the last inch of the dart post lets it shoot half darts, which are actually far more accurate from this than regular darts.

And Themberchaud the dragon ("Thunder Chad" as we nicknamed him while playing the Out Of The Abyss campaign) is a nearly totally sedentary and heavily overweight Red Dragon used to power a city deep in the Underdark. He's the big red dragon seen in the D&D movie trailer.

Absolutely love the original D&D blasters. So, I think it looks good, the addition of actual dragons is awesome, but it’s to close to the Dinosquad look now. I’m glad it’s a crossbow though, there is actually a Sword and Axe, I have the Sword, it’s so fun! Thanks for the review!

Okay, stupid question. Mine might be broken, just bought it for 4 bucks so that could explain it. How hard do I have to pull back on the string? I CANNOT get it past the orange bits in the middle.

This has gotta be the worst ergo I’ve ever seen. As a D&D fan, I’m kinda insulted at what they’ve given us so far. And they have indeed already announced a sword and an axe later this year for the line.

Good review but doesn’t show the product actually shooting, which is a bit telling about it. My son bought it with some Christmas money and it immediately (like after 5 shots) stopped working.
