D&D Movie Nerf Sword and Axe! | Nerd Immersion

So in addition to the Nerf blasters that I reviewed, Nerf/D&D also made a sword and axe to go along with the D&D movie, Honor Among Thieves. It was nice to see Nerf return to making some fun foam melee weapons, however the axe could definitely do some damage.

Thanks for watching!

They're meant for kids, so they're kind of small. Its basically sized down so they went from Greataxe and Longsword to Battle Axe and Shortsword.
Look like good quality though. Might pick some up for my kids so I can be obliterated when one of them strikes me full-force in the neck.

I love the fact they created two iconic weapons from D&D as a promo from the film. I plan on getting both as a prop for my character for a local game.

Your Nerf Immersion channel seems to be coming along quite nicely, Ted!

But seriously, I want that Nerf sword, and would like a shield to go with it. Or maybe redo Drizzt's swords in Nerf, I'd go for those too.

Nerf magic items is GENIUS, and I dont know why they arent doing that already

I'd like to see more crossover toys being made. I think making items from the books would be a fun way to introduce kids to other ideas within the pages of DnD.

I would also like to buy them, but I'm out of wall space for display...

I thought it was a joke until I searched them up and turns out they do exist.

I would love to see Hasbro do some official D&D weapons through a Calimacil partnership for their older audience! And perhaps their younger as well once the product lifecycle for these is towards its end

Nerf polearms (spears, halberds, glaives) would be something interesting.

The time of the axe and sword is nigh...

This makes perfect sense to me. They look pretty good and the price is not bad. I'm probably going to pick up one of the swords for my daughter. I have a few larp weapons hanging on my wall. that I have from costumes i did in the past, and she always wants to play with them. they are far to big for her though. My longsword would practically be a zweihander in her hands.

Oh so your channel might be why YouTube has been recommending videos about nerf junk

Honestly i still don't get the whole name brand nerf as with modern 3d printing for blasters and much better quality cheaper larping toys available they don't seem worth it

I'm having flashbacks to the early 90's when monetizing the brand took president over producing game content that players actually wanted. Suddenly, "Dungeons and Dragons" was on every imaginable bit of merch as the game itself was swirling down the drain.
It's the same sort of people in charge now as were then. Corporate suits who don't actually play the game they're in charge of.

They are really selling garbage and ignoring the game
