This blaster is pretty cool as long as you're not right handed.

Hi Drac, NerfDad here. Great video, thanks for the mention! I guess that's all I expected from a blaster like that, but it is weird that they made it more left handed friendly. Keep up the great videos!

My 9 year old saw this online and immediately was like OH COOL DRAGON BLASTER! So drac is absolutely on point with his assessment that is aimed at that audience and I must say, it worked

I really like the single shot Gold Dragon Jolt in this line! Lots of scales on the grip instead of "cloth wrap" 😁

It works as a right handed blaster if you hold it correctly. The tail is suppose to go on the outside of your wrist, not the inside.

My immediate thought upon seeinf the juat the thumbnail was "I will have my players fight a dragon, and if they die I shoot their mini with this".

my issue is the mold in a black dragon yet painted blue ?!?

That’s actually a really unique and cool looking blaster… for being a double jolt reskin lol

An internal magazine, pump action, mega dart-shooting, blaster designed and called "The Terrasque."

"Red Dragon" -a reskinned Raven, with the bullpup magwell made to look like a mound of treasure on which the dragon sits.

And "The Beholder" a multi-barrelled, muzzleloader, with a smart AR. Each eye holding and shooting a single dart.

Hasbro's not gutting DnD! They're just gluing together the covers of their product so that homebrew modders can't tinker with the mechanics to improve things.

Oh wait I've seen this playbook before. Next they're going to come out with DnD Ultra One. Oh wait they've already announced it

Good review. Any thoughts on how you might mod it for looks?
Asking bc getting those horns out has been a challenege.

I’m glad they still make blasters that look great for young nerfers. I sometimes forget that a blaster can low powered and inconsistent but still be perfect to the younglings.

6:12 - Is that water coming out of the blaster?

Lord Drac.
Great review of a sub par blaster. This one will be left in box for the collection just like all the dragon blasters so far. Thanks for the great videos.

This is definitely an example of Hasbro's over-reliance on smart ARs. There are appropriate places to use the mechanism (where the barrel layout would not be possible otherwise) but alternating between two barrels is not one of those. And there are countless blasters that could have just been revolvers instead...
This blaster's barrel switching could have been achieved with the rotating plunger tube cap that X-Shot uses, with slots in each side of the shell and markers on the cap to indicate which barrel is active.

Now to wait for a Dart Zone x Paizo collab which will undoubtedly be a better dragon blaster.

Finally a blaster for me (Left handed)! I saw one of these in my local Target this last weekend.

Really wish they had reshelled the actual Double Strike or any of the cool hammer prime sidearms for this line in some way, but I guess there's always time.

Just picked one up on clearance. Zero power, uncomfortable grip.
Molding is good and I could see someone painting it up with nice detail.

As a dnd nerd, why is he blue? That's a black dragon, you can tell by the head, and it would have looked sweet as a black dragon too.

At the end of the firing test did anyone else see the liquid coming out of the barrels? That was really gross....
