Using rub n buff to fix this antique frame for my gallery wall! In the video I said the color is Antique Gold but it's actually European Gold. I think it matched perfectly!

I would use paper clay to replicate the missing piece then paint it.

I think if a little black was mix in it prior, it may have matched a little better. Just sayin' .... Thanks for sharing though...

I fix frames like that by making a mold of a matching section and casting a replacement piece. If done carefully the repair is undetectable.

Maybe try a tiny bit of brown wax? Not all over the spot, just around the edges
