Best video on how to backup Quickbooks online. My teacher couldn't answer this question when I asked this question in class and she is teaching the subject. LOL, whenever she speaks about Quickbooks online. Keep up the great work.

Hello Hector, I like your videos, but I have questions. In my opinion, it is not really a backup. In my point of view, backup is when you save all your accounting system in a file and if your system is crushed down you can just upload it as it was at that point in time. In your video, I see a few problems. First of all, QB online is not able yet to import bills and payments from an Excel file. Second, even if you would be able to import bills and payments, as I understand they won't be connected with each other. So you would have to connect each payment to each bill or invoice. Correct me f I am wrong.

Back up done... Any videos on how to do mass editing to products and services? I have 6, 000 items to edit and have a feeling that it will require an export and reimporting the items but no clear direction on how to do this.

Hi,

1. if we have to migrate to qb advanced from qb online and purpose is to have new and uniform gl codes from next FY i.e 24-25 across different locations, can you advice if a backup of data is required

2. Reason is whether giving new gl codes/ uniform gl description will alter earlier yr gl descriptions i.e prior to FY 24-25

Hi Hector, I want to thank you so much for all of your videos. As a CPA w many years experience of the desktop product and not nearly as much time with QBO, they help me a lot. When you’re working with a new client in QBO that needs a lot of cleanup work, do you ever back up the data prior to doing a lot of that cleanup, in case it blows up on you? I always used to backup the desktop files before doing a lot of cleanup. Never needed the backup but it made me more confident in accepting that work. If you do or would ever backup prior to cleanup in QBO, which method would you use, since any restore would be right back into QBO itself? Thanks in advance for any guidance. 🙏🏻😀
