If I write instructions for cooking dal makhani on a piece of paper, that is like a Docker File.
If I publish that recipe in a cooking book, or post it on the internet, it becomes available for everyone to use. That is like a Docker Image. (Not exactly, but just go with it. Basically, Docker File is the raw instructions, where as Docker Image is processed and standardized instructions that can be automatically applied).
When someone finally reads my recipe and cooks dal makhani, that becomes something real that can actually be eaten. That is like creating a Docker Container from a Docker Image.
