Can we use a 4L60E from a 4.8L engine and put in on a 5.3L engine? do we need to flash/ reprogram?

I am learning as much as possible! My 180, 000 mile 4L60E just developed a 2-3 shift flare then the next time I drove it it flared from 1st into 2nd? I'm hoping it's solenoid O'rings or something with the 2-4 servo?

Hello plz I have hummer h3 swap to 6.0L gen 3 i change the bell housing n torque converter n shaft n drum and pump
I drive it for 1 month verry well
After i have a little slipping between 2n3
I send my transmission to one guy he changed n3 gear discs and valve body separater plate
When we make the test drive i have 1 n R working good and 2 n 3 n 4 start slipping on 2000 rpm
I put my gauge on line pressure i have 63 psi maximum on all gears driving and stop except the R 95 psi
What i can do thanks for your help
