I am now living back in the haunted home that I had grown up in.... Being that my mother is now 91, and needing me here, to be able to continue living at the house that was built for her 60 years ago. My parents had met on Halloween night, then 2 years later, I was born in 1967. So, needless to say, I am truly drawn to these Wonderful Haunted Stories, they are so intriguing and familiar, and they have helped me with understanding a lot of my childhood experiences. They always kept the specific hauntings names and location to themselves so as not to cause the families additional stress from the press and onlookers. I think the doll loved being with the young child. Playing, being with, being attended to, and have meal time. Okiku was in grief and that allowed whatever haunted or cursed her to take over again.

I grew up in a house that used to be a mortuary. We lived in the basement. They're were a lot of strange and scary things that happened to us. Unexplained things. So I don't doubt it at all.

I truly believe the family story is true. I've experienced it myself but not close to their extreme. Yes very frightening. It stopped 6 years ago when we moved to a new place. However i still feel their presence only when i am a lone in the house. Why i never stay home a lone. One time i was in our backyard around 9 or 10 pm i smelled strong roses like someone spray a bottle of perfume in my face coming from my neighbor's which is 100 ft from our house. Then i realized our neighbor a lady( i didn't get a chance to met her we moved in 1 month afer her passing) she died 1 year to that month i smelled the roses it lingered for 3-5 mins. No one in our community grow roses that i know. We live in Phx lol. When i smelled the roses it was 102 degrees still at night. I called my daughter if she smell it she did. For us we belive it's a good sign when you smell flowers or any scent. Not foul smell. A good scent smell means she is visiting her home and she is doing well in heaven and a good wish for the people that smell the roses vices versa bad smell. Never smell it again this was 4 years ago. I wish her well.
