Actaully Kazunori Yamauchi the boss of poliphiny digital/ gran turismo makers told that he is already making a deal with porsche.
Porsches contract with EA expires in 2015/16 and he said the porsche will be in gt as soon as the EA contract expires. He didn't go in detail because it is still to early so noone knows if poliphony will get the exclusive licence so only they can use porsche or will they allow all games to get a licence. So when gt7/forza6 get released they probably won't have it from day 1 but maybe as a dlc (sometime later in their "lifetime") also here is the link for The article:

hey Nick i figured out how to make wheelie cars in horizon 2 it works best with trucks and SUV'S and the look stupid but they will do wheelies heres how: slam it in the front and make the suspension as stiff as possible. max ride height in the rear with the suspension as soft as possible and max grip. it makes it so when you go to launch the back squats down a lot and because the front is slammed with supper stiff suspension there is very little travel so the front lifts up you have to do a a wheelie build please i have found so far that the Escilade is the best SUV to use

I never actually understood who RUF are, aren't they just a tuning branch of Porsche?

Hey Nick, you were talking about the Holden licences in this video and the thing is that Holden doesn't make cars anymore, 2014 was when the last models of the company were made. I used to work at Holden but only for a year and a half and they are still doing designs but it isn't going to be in Holden's name but instead they are importing their designs into other car companies like Toyota or Ford, to keep the company "Alive"

For everyone that doesn't get it, RUF is the Shelby from Ford for Porsche. Same Chassis but entirely new car by itself.

Maybe someone can clear this up for me. I understand how EA has the license for Porsche but what i dont understand is why is it so exclusive? Ill try to explain what i mean by saying, for example, how can multiple games have a car manufacturer like say BMW or Aston Martin. BMWs and Astons are in Forza, The Crew, Gran Turismo, Grid, and more and im sure those game developers have to acquire the licenses. So my question is what makes EA and Porsche license so special that it makes all other racing titles nearly impossible to acquire porsches?

I think the deal between Porsche and EA has an expiry date like 2016 or something so turn 10 could wait and launch a car pack or maybe get their hands on models quickly or buy the royalty thing so they don't get the same troubles again. Who knows? As long as Ferrari stays then I'm happy:)

Porsche must surely have enough money in the bank to buy the licenses back from EA and make them available for other game producers. I personally believe that would be better for Porsche as a company and a brand. By allowing more developers to buy licenses they would most probably make enough money to cancel out the cost of buying the licenses back. It could also make Porsche a stronger brand in the future when racing gamers actually get to experience their cars in a good simulator, maybe even making it on to peoples "dream cars" lists. No longer would people go around and say that it's an old beetle after experiencing a virtual chassis with realistic handling. JC ruined so many people saying that haha!

I might be slightly biased though :P I've always had a thing for Porsches, ever since Need For Speed: Porsche 2000 when I was 5. No.1 dream car probably is the GT3RS 4.0 :P

Why doesn't Porsche just say FU EA, we want be in more games than just your arcade-games. Every self-respecting carmanufacturer wants to be in a high-rated game like Forza or Gran Turismo. It is their intellectual property.

magnus walkers 277 car is coming to forza at some point. he said in an interview for this months evo magazine that his car is going to be in the forza series but he didn't say which one

i know this is a old vid, but Forza or Turn 10 does have access to Porsche. there was a leaked title in the most recent Dlc for horizon. it was titled Porsche Expansion pack with in the Des. one car 918 spyder. so turn 10 does have some thing w/ Porsche.

Ohhh and BTW... RUF is not "a fake Porsche", RUF is one of many European tuning companies dealing specifically in tuning current Porsche models and calling them their own, similar in a way that Shelby does with the Mustang etc.

Although I already knew this, I think this was the best explanation I've heard to date on why Porsche is no longer in the Forza franchise. It would be cool if they could add $1.00 to every game to cover the cost of EA royalties.

I think I have read somewhere that turn10 has the same type of rights to Ferrari cars, (not exactly sure). Still, there are a lot of Ferraris in this game, much more than in the other games
