You need to unscrew the tab faucet and clean it regularly, no wonder … use baking power and lemon juice with an old toothbrush! If you can’t unscrew it use a small plastic bag, fill it with a mixture of baking powder and lemon juice or Limescale remover, pop it over the end of the tap so that it can soak, use a rubber band to secure it.

Two things.
First take some of your water to the city, if you think it's diseased, you can actually get the city to test it. My mom and brother caught giardia from our tap water (I didn't because I only drank tea and I was boiling the water which made the giardia inert.) Turns out a water filter at the treatment plant was messed up and letting contaminated water into the system.

2. As a personal plea. I really wish people would stop saying "I'm just a girl" when talking about needing someone to do something for them. As a career woman, I deal with so many misogynists telling me that I'm incapable of doing things because "you're just a girl" and it's really exhausting cause my gender doesn't define my intellect and abilities. And that's just the direct ones. The indirect ones just dismiss my opinions and when my male coworkers say the same things later. It's suddenly a great idea. Seriously, we are capable women, and needing help shouldn't diminish ourselves.

For people that want to clean your faucet!
It comes apart, and you can clean the parts individually. Scrub away the gunk, soak in vinegar, then wash, scrub with baking soda, Wash again, and reassemble. (Using vinigar and baking soda at the same time does not work as they nuturalize each other) Do this with all sinks and bath spouts. Filling a bag with vinegar and wrapping it around the shower head works too. If it's the water itself that's causing the issue I recommend a filter that goes on the pipes under the sink. They filter better, are less likely to grow mildew, and are easier to change. Have fun cleaning!

If you think the faucet is dirty, take a ziplock bag, and fill it with two parts distilled white vinegar, one part water (ex: 2/3 cup vinegar, 1/3 cup water), and submerge the pary of the faucet where water comes out in the ziplock bag, tying the bag on so it'll stay and not fall. (I'm sorry if these instructions suck) You can also do this with some shower heads.

The best solution is to add a whole house filter to the inlet pipe of your property, that means you'll be showering and cooking with filtered water, I put a whole house filter where the water enters the house, then installed a reverse osmosis water tap next to the kitchen sink for pot filling and when giving the animals water to drink... The house filter stops particulates, the reverse osmosis stops smaller things like bacteria
