(Original airdate: 12/16/15) Being a kid in the 1970's was both simpler, and it seems, way more dangerous.

Team Coco releasing this Bill Burr clip after that Kimmel appearance so people would know what Burr is like in his natural habitat with Conan. 😂

I also grew up in the '70's. Graduated 1980 so Bill Burr's F is for Family just hits home. I love it 😁🤣

I was born in the 70's, but I witnessed the tail end of that era. Still got paddled at school, played outside until Mom called me home (by yelling my name from the back porch). Rode my bike everywhere with no helmet. People could smoke anywhere they wanted, even the hospital. If you missed a TV show, you had to catch a rerun, or that's that. TV signed off at night after hours. Such a different world than today.

Chewed an entire pack of Bubble Yum, caught frogs and crayfish, then played stickball. Went home and read MAD magazine and watched The Six Million Dollar Man. Those were the days.

As much as I love Bill, it was odd he thought the crowd was groaning from being offended and not just groaning because of the natural reaction of hearing someone get a firecracker blown up in their face lol. Still love him tho. May he never get cancelled!

I love Conan's "Thank god for cellphones" line. The perfect foil for the bit.

I remember taping a kid in my class to a tree and forgetting about him until that day was over. When we came back to get him down he was singing aloud and was weirdly happy.

I loved the 70's! Just went outside, breathed fresh air, and caused mischief!♥️

I'm watching F is for Family right now. I wasn't even born in the 70s and I emigrated to this nation in 2011. I bloody love that anime series. It is reminiscent of a bygone era in a way where we still have relics of it, which in turn evokes nostalgia. Where the show becomes an absolute masterclasses is that it steers clear of canonizing any personality or ideology. The cultural wars of the time and subtle traces of misogyny and racism amalgamates beautifully with the simplicity of the bygone times. My parents grew up in the UK where it was similar, except the sports bits where it was Cricket, Rugby and Soccer instead of Baseball and basketball. They saw the first season recently and had a blast watching the first season.

Born in the 70s sounds exactly like being born in the rural US in the 90s.

Great way to help Bill Burr promote his fifth season of F is For Family even if Conan is not airing anymore.

I noticed this was when Conan replaced his moon with the Death Star. So technically, this is Bill Burr’s first Star Wars appearance 🤣

We threw Lawn Darts in the air and had to run fast. One time our friend got struck in the back! Lol.
