I will say this rich people absolutely play the lottery. During college I worked at a luxury high rise in South Florida. Units started at 500k and up nearly everyone who lived there was a millionaire or multimillionaire. During the time when the Powerball was near an all time high all those rich folks bought tickets.

And I agree, Jim Rohn was brilliant. His protege Tony Robbins also has some good speeches on success and wealth. And he sure doesn't talk about winning the lottery either!
