I made a Plague 'Hulk'

It's me Scratch "The Maestro" Bashing with this very good Nurgle build (suitable for Warhammer 40000 and other Warhammers)

Do you enjoy pinched-skin-bag-ball sculpting?!

Disclaimer:
Kitbashing a Warhammer Daemon. Nurgle got you pushing too many plagues, huh? Greater Daemon of Slaanesh beware. Did not use the Squidmar airbrush, it wasn't out yet and I might not get it anyway. I think I also have a semi-secret subreddit you can join if you want.

Scabeiathrax adjacent.

Okay, I can now confirm this is, indeed, sculpting.

Brilliant! I want to join Wand Club too. Also why don't you just like, go buy some warhamma?

What an epic build. I was indeed slightly unsettled multiple times throughout but that just means you did it right!

Wow! A Scratchbashing video with comments from North of the Border, Studson, Eric from Eric's Hobby Workshop, Bill from Bill Making Stuff... it's great how my favourites watch and support each other!

This is, bar none, the most impressive bashed model i've ever seen. Know that if you ever think that you aren't one of the best model makers out there, your doubts are unfounded. This is amazing and inspiring. Wonderful job man!

New viewer here. Incredibly entertaining: you’re funny, you used like 58 different techniques, your project’s “ugly phase” lasted way longer than I thought could possibly work, you put toys in your toys as well as horns on your horns, you actually made the most amazing face sculpt. Like I didn’t even realize it was a face for 60% of it. I was so invested the whole time!! 🔥🔥🔥

Scratch "rehash" bashing here turning that green thing into a sicker green thing

Nice work. I've often used bootleg or broken toys from second hand stores for kitbashes and scratch builds myself. Sometimes an articulated figure is just a better armature than wire, especially if you're short on things for adding bulk.

As much as I dislike nearly all of grandfather Nurgle's aesthetic choices, the techniques and scratch bashing you did in this video was incredible. I was particularly impressed with the spine cone. The final figure looks like a legitimate model, well done!

"Popping pimples" via two layers of glue, in order to get an oozing effect/outcome, seems quite wonderfully clever!!

By Nurgle’s fat-folds, that looks so grotesque. I love it

This is really awesome! Would love to see you do more organic scratch builds.

EDIT: Maybe turn this into a mini series and do a greater demon for all four chaos gods.

Second edit: the marvel legens Khonshu figures head would make a great Tzeentch demon head.

Yup. Toys make for great figure material. I'm currently finishing the paint job on my Nurgle daemon prince (that looks similar to a great unclean one) and his legs are taken from the hind legs of a rubber ankylosaurus toy.
(Let me know if you wanna see it SB) ;)

This build was indeed, pretty epic.
I wasn't convinced at first, but as the build kept going, it kept looking better and better ?? Amazing job, so impressive to start from trash and arrive at such an impressive result, it is so well done !

You're the first painter I've seen capture the color of "dead gut" on the intestine. It's such a distinct color and texture when you see it in real life, and your model nailed it.

Great job, different materials and substances fit together so well, like it was meant to be, bravo.
Immuring in your work individual parts that you can’t use for their intended purpose is a great way to make use of them, and not throw them away.
