15:00 this definitely cleared up one of my questions. If you intend to use Cast AI then your cluster should NOT be created with auto-scaling node groups provided by the public cloud. Feels kind of weird coming from a GitOps perspective 20:45 - but this seems like a great solution!

hey, i am think if you have just enough size node yeah it cost save, when hpa trigger scale up you will need that extra room to scale?

i think provide 1.5 extra room for something rolling update will be better?
Otherwise it may wait long time to complete the rollout process

I have used spot/ocean autoscaler by NetApp. It was even able to relocate pods automatically to be able to shut down more nodes while minding pod disruption policies. It was really feature rich und you paid according to your savings to them. By the way have I overheard casts pricing?

I've tried install Cast AI to my private EKS cluster on AWS, seems after couple days a data processed by NAT gateway increase a number of GB. I wondering that was happend by cause EKS cluster kept sending the metric (or action must use network traffic outbound) to Cast AI API ??
