I love how Protestant opponents of oneness mention that "the Church" declares it a heresy. Yet, if you question those people, you'll find many of them do not believe that the Eucharist is the literal blood and body of Christ, they do not believe in confession to a priest and so on. The simple reality is that "the Church" declares all Protestants are heretics so arguing about what "the Church" teaches or decrees really only fosters division among us.

Kind of the logical heresy. H2O one molecule We see as steam, water, ice but still h2O! I struggled for 25 years after leaving Christian Science with this. I have compassion with all who find this a struggle!!!

Some equate Sabellianism with modalism. Do you believe this is *always* accurate? Or are there non Sabellian modalism?

I have also heard people claim that God the father is exclusively YHWH and that Jesus and the holy spirit are not. If this is the case, would equating Jesus or the Holy Spirit with YHWH a form of Sabellianism or modalism?

Also to clarify, you're Protestant?
