I use to be a oneness Pentecostal and always wrestled with reading clear scripture where the Trinity seemed to pop out of verses. I abandoned that false teaching long ago and fully embrace the Trinity. One cannot make sense out of the Bible outside of it.

I think some trinitarians separate the Father, Son and Spirit too much. We have one God with a mysterious plurality about Him. We shouldn’t enforce our finite thinking on the Godhead.

I went to a Church that the people were modalists before I knew it was a thing. I never felt the unction of the Holy Spirit while at this Church. They were wonderful people who I know completely want to serve Jesus. They even spoke in tongues. I always wondered if they were truly saved. I left the Church confused and hurt by the situation. I despise modalism.

Kindly explain this Verse, in view of the Trinity “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, ” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8
I believe there is One GOD that operates in three offices/titles, not 3 persons .

Why did Jesus call them "children" when he appeared on the shore?
Why does Jesus start speaking AS the Father in John 14:9?

So interestingly there is a form of "Modalism" that is really similar to the Unitarian view as well. I am not sure what it is called, but its proponents say that the Son is just the human person and that the Spirit of Christ was the Father. Unitarians believe that Son was just a human person who was filled to the brim with the (non-person) spirit of the Father. Both views have the Son being strictly human (which is a Christ that cannot save), and the only real difference I can see is that the latter gives Christ His own human spirit.

The fact people can endlessly debate the trinity and oneness of God show we don’t have all the answers, so be humble.

Modalism is dangerous. The Father is different from the Son.

"19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Before creation, god was not alone. He had himself, he had the other persons of the trinity.

I used to be a Trin. I always wondered how there can be one God but God is 3 co equal persons each distinct from the other 2. Either Jesus is the Father or hes not God at all. Tritheist Trinitarianism makes no sense.

No such thing as trinity in Scripture AT ALL. The only place where you'll find the concept of 3 in 1 is in the occult!!! Trinity means three in unity. Three *what* in unity? 3 gods, period, It doesn't matter how you slice it.

The Bible DOES NOT teach polytheism nor mysticism. The God of Israel is 1 Person just like the first man He created in His *own* image and likeness. This trinity/modalism gibberish will send many to the Lake of Fire.

I understand that unitarians and even modalists wanted to save the onesse of God. Trinitarians believe in 3 distinct gods, which makes them polytheist.
