OpenShot No GPU Rendering & Broken Animated Titles

I was getting frustrated at OpenShot for the past week or so, because I was having the problem of only certain animated titles working at all and having to use the CPU for rendering them. That was SO slow.

I finally got so frustrated I decided to do some research. Turns out there are a lot of people having these issues with OpenShot, and some people are offering the wrong solution to fix the problem. Like pointing OpenShot to your blender executable or renaming certain python scripts so they interact better with blender.

I just downloaded and installed a fresh Distro of Linux, I installed all of my video editing apps and it fixed a lot of glitches I was having. I haven't even tried to use the feature you just covered in this video because it has never worked on any installs in the past.

Thx, i owe u. U helped me to realize to download something else from the dropdown of download list. Now it works. Bad news are that now my 2 sec project is vanished, i cant take it back, when i try to recover the file (ready file on my desktop) app crashes. Good news: I can do it again in about half hour.
