It's particularly about Tendō Pain, one of my favourite characters from the Anime/Manga "Naruto Shippuden".

He has an awesome backstory, "good" motives, epic power, badass theme song and a presence worthy a god.

Pain's speech about "Cycle of hatred" is the best anime speech I've ever heard. I don't even remember any movie speech that challenges his speech. Such a great character. RIP Nagato, Yahiko and Konan...

The thing that hurts me in all of this is that in the end, despite all the efforts of our protagonists, despite all that why Naruto, Jiraya and the others fought, In the end Nagato (Pain) was right. After an Ephemeral peace, the cycle of hatred resumes. You can see it in Boruto. And the thing that marks me the most in Pain's words is when he tells Naruto that humans are not the most intelligent creatures in the universe, I never understood what Pain meant at that time, I realize now that he was speaking consciously or unconsciously of Ôtsutsuki.

At first, when i saw him, i thought he seemed very annoying and i didn't like him since he killed Jiraiya. But when I heard his Cycle of Hatred or something like that, I felt his pain. It hit me hard when he said, "what about MY parents, MY friends, MY village?" And when he said, "Everybody feels pain when you lose something precious to you." He was truly a great person.
