Basic understanding of acceleration and acceleration due to gravity for grade 7-8 students.

Note :- Acceleration due to gravity is independent of mass of the object. It is same for an elephant and an ant falling together from a roof i.e it is 9.8 m/s2.

Anyone who know the answer plz help.... (down ward direction) Velocity increases then acceleration also increases. It is (+ve) Velocity decreases acceleration decreases then (-ve) and both of them are in the opposite direction. An object is fallen to the earth velocity increases then acceleration increases (+ve) . I searched this in Google but the answer is *acceleration due to gravity is always -ve.* why ❓
