Courses on Khan Academy are always 100% free. Start practicing—and saving your progress—now: Calculating the acceleration of a Porsche. Created by Sal Khan.

Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything

This is a trip down memory lane. Back in 2014, I was all over this channel. Now, I'm a full time project engineer, about two years deep, and this content feels like muscle memory. Thanks for all you do. You certainly helped me out along the way man times.

come to think of it. School doesn't rly matter anymore when you have free tutors on youtube who explain the subject better. smh

this man teaches better than my AP physics, and all my teachers gives us a chapter to read and answer problems... THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO

I love how when sal says a word, he first says it, then writes it down, and then, while writing it down, slowly sounds out the word!

Sir you cannot even imagine that how easy have you made the things for some students who were struggling with their teachers.

We can accelerate in circle. Infact any circular motion is accelerated motion because direction of velocity changes at each point of the circular path. And change is velocity is defined as acceleration. So we can accelerate in circles.

Thank you for this. Your tutorials are useful especially in this time of pandemic where we go to school through online class which is hard to deal with but you're here, teaching us. Thanks a lot. God bless

The correct formula is this:

Acceleration = Final Speed - Starting Speed Divided by time

Or

a=v-u/t

Best video Explaination. I think the dislikes are only for physics and not for Khan academy. Because this guy is a legend.

When something is travelling in a circle there's always an acceleration. Its called centripetal acceleration and the formula is (Ac=(v^2)/r) Ac being acceleration and r being the radius of the circle
