Rust Electricity: User Request - Generator Powered HBHF Triggered Turret & Door

User KamikazeJutsu from Discord asked how to run a turret and garage door, powered by a generator which is started and stopped by HBHF trigger. They would like to get all this into a 1x1 with a triangle TC. This is one possible option for that!

Greetings Sir. I believe I've solved the cave base generator problem.
I was able to make a system with two generators that are activated with pressure pads and then switched off when the target has deceased and is no longer detected by a hbhf sensor thus saving fuel to only when it's needed to be on and shooting.
I kept running into the problem of the turn off circuit being activated too quickly as the signal coming to the blocker to prevent the turn off signal from triggering wasn't getting to the blocker quickly enough. I managed to solve this by slowing down the turn off signal by putting a simple switch in the way. This gave the sensor signal just enough time to catch up and work as intended.
I can provide a schematic if you wish to see what I've done and distribute to your followers if you deem it worthy enough

Heya Rabbit! Love your videos! They've helped me to become really creative with Rust electricity. As such, I wanted to share with you a concept I developed from watching your videos. I call it: "Multi-base Daytime Signal". It's very simple in how it works. Every base with electricity that uses solar power, will naturally use that power source to determine when lights go on and off in their base. The disadvantage to that, is when solar panels become compromised, the entire base will light up on account of no solar generation. My answer to that is this: Use the solar power and a RF broadcaster to create a "daytime signal". Using an RF receiver at another base, and you can control the night time lighting there without actually having solar panels there. Alternatively, you can make all bases broadcast the daytime signal, and setup blocking on every base based on that signal. The advantage with doing that: An enemy has to compromise every single solar panel on all your bases in order to shut down your daytime signal. This signal can also be used to indicate to cave dwellers if it's night time or not without needing solar panels directly present. This concept can be extended to your lighthouse design. Allowing you to create several simple lighthouse that operate wirelessly under control of a main lighthouse. Also, I took your light house design and created my own take on it. For example, let's take a simple 6 triangle. Instead of using 6 "phases" like your light house does, and have one side light up at a time, I use a twin system. 2 sides across from each other will light up, giving the illusion of a real light house, while cutting the system down to a 3 phase.

Swap your 1x1 and triangle. 1x1 with tc, components, battery, generator, solar on top, etc. Single door coming out into a triangle with turret on triangle. 2 garage doors on both ends of the triangle. Gives a full 180 degree coverage for the turret.

If you use the generator as the second powersource to the xor switch it should work with a small battery

I have a questions is there a way to hook up 1 turret with door controllers and Smart alarm to 2 sensors i already figured a way to do it with smart alarm and 1 sensor but for some reason the 2nd sensor doesnt activate the turret or door controller.

Rabbit is there a way to use a timer with this circuit so that the turret stays on for a few minutes after being activated? I wanted to use this in our cave base when we are getting raided to stop them.trying to bait the turret 💙🙏

Hey Rabid, great vid! Can you make a similar build ? For my Base I am planning on having 3 turrets behind a garage door and they are powered by an hbhf. Like, each turret & garage door are powered when an hbhf senses someone as you have done in this video. (Each door/auto combo will have 1 hbhf as I plan on having one auto turret thing on the front and 2 on the back, they don’t have to fit into one foundation but just need to work.

(Simplified Version) I would like a circuit that can opens a garage door and turns on the autoturret behind it using a hbhf sensor without using generators. Tysm, you’re vids are really helpful btw :D

Can you pick up a turret if the power goes off if its next to your base with a tc ?

I need a circuit that will trigger the small generator to turn on to charge the batteries that power my turrets if my solar or windmill get knocked out.

Say a clan comes to raid my compound, they see my solar and wind charging system and take it out thinking that will knock out my turrets.

I want the generator to turn on once my charging system gets taken out.

Thanks in advance!

Rabid, I don't know if you aim for simplicity, which is ok, but don't say that "we can't fit it in a triangle."...
We can! :^)

User request by the way: make a new video telling the guy that he can, before he creates a 1x2 for not reason.

Go on discord, or take the link I provided for dropbox. I'll have a project nammed "User Request - Generator Powered HBHF Triggered Turret & Door v.2.0"

I can make is cheaper and easier, but the 3v trigger was a low hanging fruit and I have friends to satisfy by my presence..
