A number of you have comments on seeing Tesla coils working through floors. Here is a demonstration of the technique that can be used to make Tesla Coils invisible and effective through walls, floors and ceilings!

You can also use boxes, can lamps, workbench, fireplace, etc. to clip them through the walls.

I've noticed that all of these work with wood-sheet metal walls, but not with HQ walls. For some reason, when you have an HQ wall the coil works on the invisible side, but not the visible side. It's actually way easier to get this trick to work in HQ walls though.. all you have to do is stand against the wall, place the coil on the floor and move it towards the wall until the base of the coil clips the HQ wall. It'll work on both sides if you do that.

I could see the wall clip could be great vs door campers, placing a coil on all the walls near your front door and flipping the switch before going-out.

I don't want this to change. Frankly the idea of really easily visible traps is fucking stupid.

You should be able to hide them like this. They can be hit from the outside by splash so I think it's perfectly fair. If these were always being placed so they were obvious they'd be useless

Need some advice as my brains cabbaged .looking to use a wind turbine to charge a large battery to run 3 tesla coils of using hb sensor. Using splitter.and switch and ebranch .prob is obviously any thing conected to the battery apart from blocker drains charge. So how can i work it so it only drains when activated .want it to soley run from battery as wind turbines power fluctuate s to much ..thx

It's a shame they've fixed that,
to me, tesla coils have become useless now.
